Lazio President hints at signing amid links to Barcelona starlet

Barcelona forward Vitor Roque appears to have his days numbered at the club, with the Blaugrana keen to move him on either a loan or a permanent deal this summer. The 19-year-old is not yet registered for the coming season with La Liga, and could save significant space in their salary limit.

Roque has so far rejected offers to go to Saudi Arabia, but it is said that he might be more open to a move within Europe, amid links to Lazio and Porto. As picked up by Sport, Lazio President Claudio Lotito has told Il Messagero that “we will end up with an important player from 2005,” the same year that Roque was born.

The Blaugrana are reportedly at least looking to make their money back on Roque, having spent €30m on him in January. After just a handful of appearances, it appears they have not had to pay Athletico Paranaense any of his variables, which can rise to €31m.
