Goalkeeper to become latest player to leave Real Madrid this summer

It’s not been an overly busy summer for Real Madrid, with only two arrivals (Kylian Mbappe and Endrick) and four departures (Toni Kroos, Nacho Fernandez, Joselu Mato and Rafa Marin) having taken place in the first team dynamic. It’s in La Fabrica where there has been more transfer action, especially in regards to departures.

Alex Jimenez, Marvin Park and Peter Federico are among those to have left Real Madrid so far this summer, and there are bound to be several more that departure before the transfer window closes. Alvaro Rodriguez, Nico Paz and Mario Martin are candidates to be moved on, but in the meantime, one player that is certain to leave is Lucas Canizares.

Canizares, who was called up to multiple Champions League matchday squads last season, has no future at Real Madrid, which forces him to leave immediately. As per Relevo, he’s expected to move to either France or Portugal in the coming weeks.

It’s expected that Canizares will leave Real Madrid in the next 7-10 days. It’s yet to be known whom he could sign for, but Los Blancos will try to ensure that they retain a sell-on clause in any agreement – as they have done with so many youngsters that have been sold in the last few years.
