Barcelona have expressed confidence that they will be able to get a deal done for Dani Olmo in the coming days, having seemingly missed out on Nico Williams. Things appear to be moving in the right direction with the 26-year-old.

After Barcelona submitted a second offer to RB Leipzig, which included a €7m increase in their offer, Fabrizio Romano now reports that Olmo is willing to accept the terms on offer from Barcelona. Talks between Barcelona and Leipzig are ongoing now, with Olmo prioritising a move to Catalonia over other options.

Perhaps the key issue for Barcelona is not finding an agreement with Leipzig, but finding a way to register Olmo. Despite Barcelona claiming their finances were in place to start making signings at the start of the transfer window, a month later, there has been no news on any deals off the pitch, and there is no sign of any sales on the horizon either.
