Real Madrid likely to allow rising star to join La Liga rival this summer

Real Madrid have already sold multiple of their La Fabrica talents over the last few weeks. Rafa Marin, Alex Jimenez and Peter Federico are just a few of those to depart, and the list could be added to before the summer transfer window closes.

A likely candidate to be moved on is Nico Paz, despite the 19-year-old midfielder being on the cusp of the first team. As reported by The Athletic, Real Madrid will consider selling Paz this summer so that he can continue his develop while playing first team football at the highest level. Their preference would be to keep him in La Liga.

Paz recently changed his agency, which has been viewed by Real Madrid as a clear indication that he expects to leave the club in the coming weeks. He’s currently with the first team squad on their pre-season tour of the United States, but the situation will almost certainly be addressed upon return to the Spanish capital.
