Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti is enjoying the sweetest of Indian summers in his management career. The Italian coach had achieved it all when he arrived back at the Santiago Bernabeu in 2021, but he has found the Midas touch again.
It seems, at 64 years of age, it just continues to get better for Don Carletto. Last season he lost the reigning Ballon d’Or winner in Karim Benzema, and did not get a replacement whatsoever. Nevertheless, Real Madrid marauded to another Liga and Champions League double against the odds, winning all three Clasico clashes, while adding more dramatic chapters to their European story.
And if that wasn’t enough, Ancelotti can still kick a ball. The Italian was filmed keeping the ball up during Real Madrid training on Monday in Chicago, and went for a full minute with the ball in the air, before breaking into a sheepish grin in front of his son Davide Ancelotti.
