Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has been forced to dip into the under-19s and Castilla side to fill out his squad for their US preseason tour, but has not called upon €30m Brazilian signing Reinier Jesus. They are keen to force a move for Reinier.
According to Diario AS, the 22-year-old does not understand his treatment, and why he has been left with the Castilla side. Now Relevo have made public an enquiry from Rayo Vallecano regarding Reinier. They are willing to take him on loan for a fifth successive year, but will not front much of his €3m salary. Unless Real Madrid pay the majority of his salary, then he will not be headed to Vallecas. So far Los Blancos are not keen to do so.
It would be no surprise to see that change in the final weeks of the transfer market, as Real Madrid seek to move Reinier on. Given what has been put on tape during his last four years, it seems unlikely anyone would be willing to take on such a large salary. Either way, Los Blancos will try to save as much of the €6m he is still due over the coming two seasons.
