WATCH: Brazilian talent grabs hat-trick for Real Madrid Castilla in front of Carlo Ancelotti

Real Madrid Castilla continued their preseason preparations under Raul Gonzalez with a 5-1 win over Illescas on Saturday, with one player in particular standing out. The €30m-signing Reinier Jesus showed some rebellion after being sent to train with the academy side.

The 22-year-old scored a hat-trick alongside goals from Hugo de Llanos and Gonzalo Garcia Torres, reminding that he could play at a higher level than in Spain’s third tier. One of those reminded was first-team manager Carlo Ancelotti, who was in attendance, as per Diario AS. The former Flamengo forward has spent both of his past two seasons out on loan at Girona and Frosinone. Despite promising starts to both, Reinier lost his place in the side and picked up various injuries.

The Brazilian has been told to look for a club this summer too, but with two years still remaining on his deal, it seems highly unlikely that any suitors will be keen to get close to his Real Madrid salary. As such, another loan move likely beckons this season too.
