Real Madrid set to lose another centre-back as interest grows in rising star

Real Madrid have a shortage of centre-backs in the first team, with only Antonio Rudiger, Eder Militao, David Alaba and Jesus Vallejo as senior options. It does present a slim opportunity for La Fabrica prospects to make the jump, but one player that won’t be afforded that opportunity is Marvel.

Marvel, 21, was in and around the Real Madrid first team at different stages last season, at the time when Carlo Ancelotti only had Rudiger and Nacho Fernandez as fit central defenders. However, he did not feature, and he’s not primed to leave without making a senior appearance for Los Blancos.

As per Relevo, Real Madrid are aiming to sell Marvel this summer. He’s previously attracted interest from clubs in La Liga and Segunda, and now a prominent side in the United Arab Emirates is pushing hard to sign him as soon as possible.

Marvel is in no rush to decide his future, as he’s waiting on the perfect project. He’s determined to secure regular first team minutes, and that certainly wouldn’t happen at Real Madrid.
