Endrick Felipe’s Real Madrid squad number revealed ahead of presentation on Saturday

Last weekend, Endrick Felipe officially became a Real Madrid player, over 18 months after a deal was agreed with Palmeiras. FIFA rules did not allow him to join the 15-time European champions until he turned 18, which he did last Sunday.

This meant that his presentation did not take place in the same week as Kylian Mbappe’s. He’s had to wait to be unveiled by Real Madrid president Florentino Perez, although that will finally happening on Saturday afternoon.

Ahead of his presentation, Diario AS have revealed the shirt number that Endrick will wear next season: 16. It’s a meaningful number for the teenager, as it’s what we wore when he made his professional debut for Palmeiras in 2022.

Next summer, there could be a chance for Endrick to adopt the number nine jersey, which will be worn by Kylian Mbappe during the upcoming campaign. It’s expected that Luka Modric will depart Real Madrid in 2025, freeing up his no.10 jersey for Mbappe – in turn, this would allow the no.9 for Endrick, should he desire it.
