Real Madrid make history after recording 27% revenue increase during 2023-24 season

Real Madrid are regarded as one of the biggest clubs in world football, and also one of the most well-run institutions too. Both of those statements ring true following the announcement of their financial report from the 2023-24 season.

In an official statement, Real Madrid confirmed that they increased their revenue by 27% over the 12 months (excluding funds received from player sales) – this has made them the first club in football history to exceed the €1bn mark when it comes to revenue. They also recorded a €16m profit.

The new Santiago Bernabeu undoubtedly helped with this achievement, although it’s even more impressive when considering that the stadium has not maximised its operating income at this stage. In essence, Real Madrid should be generating even more revenue during the upcoming 2024-25 season.

There’s no doubt that it is an exciting time to be a Real Madrid supporter. Carlo Ancelotti’s squad is one of the best in Europe, and off the pitch, money is being generated to keep them ahead of the rest.
