Spain’s celebrations from winning Euro 2024 are beginning to die down, as the players return home to their loved ones, and the public duties are carried out. However perhaps the most awaited celebration of all took place on Friday.
Real Sociedad star and scorer of the winning goal Mikel Oyarzabal certainly got a warm welcome when he went back to his local hairdresser in Eibar. Yet he did not leave with a cut as eye-catching as that of Chelsea left-back Marc Cucurella, who assisted him for the winner.
After suggesting that he would die his hair red if Spain won the Euros during the tournament, he posted on his Instagram on Friday pictures of just that, with the caption ‘Promises are to be kept.’

Cucurella’s photos are remarkably professional looking, and his hair will now draw even more attention to his marauding runs. Over the course of Euro 2024, Cucurella won the affection of all of Spain, especially after singing his own song during the celebrations in Madrid.
