RB Leipzig will see their transfer advantage returned this weekend as Dani Olmo exit speculation continues.
The Spanish international has been heavily linked with a move away from the Bundesliga side after a sensational showing at Euro 2024.
As Spain lifted their first European title since 2012. Olmo won a shared Golden Boot award, after scoring three goals in the competition.
The midfielder offered open responses on his future during the competition with his €60m exit clause extended until July 20 due to Spain’s success.
However, that deadline will pass with no movement, and RB Leipzig can demand a fee far higher in any potential talks.
Manchester City are not rumoured to be considering a move for Olmo and Barcelona are not in a position to bring him back to Catalonia.
Liverpool and Bayern Munich have indicated firmer interest and Olmo has hinted at being tempted by a challenge outside of Germany.
RB Leipzig have developed a reputation for securing high fees for star players, with Josko Gvaradiol’s €90m move to City in 2023 the current record, but Olmo could match or break that in the weeks ahead.
