On Wednesday, Barcelona made official the signing of Toni Fernandez’s first professional contract. The talented attacker turned 16 on Monday, and two days later, he committed his future to the Catalan giants. 24 hours later, another highly-rated La Masia talent has followed suit.
Guille Fernandez, Toni’s cousin, has now put pen to paper on his own first professional contract. Barcelona have announced that the 16-year-old has signed a deal until 2027, thus securing his future for the next three seasons.

Guille is one of the highest-regarded talents in La Masia. Despite his age, he was already featuring for Barca Atletic last season, and he’s likely to be an important member of Rafa Marquez’s squad for the 2024-25 campaign.
He’s currently training with Hansi Flick’s first team, alongside cousin Toni. Both players could be on the periphery of the first team set-up in the next 12 months, and following the examples of Lamine Yamal, Pau Cubarsi and co, they’ve got a decent chance of making their senior Barcelona debuts at some stage next season.
