Barcelona are due to travel to the USA on the 23rd of July for their now customary preseason tour, with three tasty fixtures lined up. Just as Kylian Mbappe will not be present in the Clasico for Real Madrid, neither will Lamine Yamal for Barcelona.
As per Sport, Lamine Yamal will return to action on the 7th or 8th of August, allowing him three weeks break after Euro 2024. That will also be the case for Ferran Torres and Pedri will also miss it, although he is injured anyway. Were Nico Williams to sign, the Catalan paper optimistically publish, he would not go either. France defender Jules Kounde finished up on the 9th of July, and is likely to go.

Barcelona will return from the US on the 7th of August, and even then they will be without Fermin Lopez and Pau Cubarsi, who will either be on Olympic duty with Spain in Paris, or on holiday after completing their part in the tournament.
It looks likely that plenty youngsters will have their shot under Hansi Flick in preseason with games against Manchester City, Real Madrid and AC Milan. Barcelona will be keen to avoid any further injury issues, with Frenkie de Jong, Gavi and Pedri all recovering from injury issues.
