Joao Felix is hoping to have his future sorted within the next couple of weeks, so that he does not need to return to Atletico Madrid for pre-season – as was the case last summer before he ended up at Barcelona. He could return to Catalonia for the 2024-25 campaign, although at this stage, it may be more likely that he ends up back in England.
As reported by Diego Pico of Radio MARCA, Aston Villa are confident that they can secure the services of Felix for next season. At this stage, it’s yet to seen whether it would be another loan for the Portuguese – Atleti would love a permanent arrangement, although it’s unlikely that anyone matches their valuation.
🚨🇵🇹 BREAKING – Pending Confirmation: There is confidence within Aston Villa to make a deal for João Félix happen. "Watch out for Unai Emery."

If Aston Villa move quickly, there’s a very good chance that they can land Felix. The 24-year-old is not a priority for Barcelona at this stage, and if they were to make efforts to re-sign him, it would only be later in the summer. Either way, Atletico Madrid want him to go, and they’d surely prefer him to join the Premier League.
