Real Madrid have remained confident that they can sign Lille wonderkid Leny Yoro for some time, after agreeing personal terms for the 18-year-old. Yet Manchester United are making life as difficult as possible for Los Blancos.

According to Nabil Djellit, Lille have accepted an offer worth €50m plus €12m in variables from Manchester United. The Red Devils are now moving onto contract talks with Yoro, and Djellit claims that things are moving in the right direction for United, with the door open to a move to them. He does assure that Real Madrid are still in the race, but are now behind.

Real Madrid started talks over a fee with Lille last week, but are still some way away from an agreement with the French side. They are pushing Yoro to accept a more lucrative offer from United, but so far Real Madrid have maintained both their position of doing a deal on their terms, and that Yoro will prioritise them. It will ultimately come down to Yoro’s decision, if he wants to wait for Real Madrid, or join United. That said, if Yoro’s agent were trying to drive up the offer from Los Blancos this would certainly be one way of going about it.
