In the coming days, Atletico Madrid are expected to confirm the arrival of Robin Le Normand. A deal has been agreed with Real Sociedad for a couple of weeks, but due to the 27-year-old’s involvement at Euro 2024, an announcement has been delayed. Once everything is finalised, club officials will move on to their next defensive target, that being David Hancko.

Atleti have been in talks with Feyenoord in recent weeks, and they’ve already had multiple offers rejected for the Slovakian international. Nevertheless, that has not deterred sporting director Andrea Berta and co, and new talks are expected to come soon.
MD say that Atleti want to wrap up the signing of Hancko as soon as possible. The report highlights information from Dutch media outlet 1908.nl, who say that the two clubs are currently €10m apart in their valuations.
Hancko would be a top signing for Atletico Madrid, and he’d be an ideal replacement for the recently-departed Mario Hermoso. It remains to be seen whether a deal is wrapped up soon – it may need to be, given that Premier League clubs are keeping tabs on the defender.
