Spain squad €11.3m UEFA bonus if they seal Euro 2024 title

There is a huge amount at stake as Spain face England in the final of Euro 2024.

La Roja are through to their first European final since winning Euro 2012 on the back of a superb tournament.

Six wins from six games in Germany has Luis de la Fuente’s team as favourites to lift the trophy in Berlin on July 15.

However, alongside the prestige of being crowned European champions, there is also a financial reward on offer for the RFEF and the squad.

As confirmed by UEFA before the tournament, the maximum a trophy winning side can receive as a bonus is €28.25m.

With Spain maintaining a 100% record that will be the total fee and reports from Mundo Deportivo have confirmed the players share.

The pre-tournament agreement indicated 30% would go to the squad, regardless of the final result, but that increases to 40%, if the title is won.

That stacks up as €11.3m for de la Fuente’s 26-man panel, at around €400,000 each, with a portion of the percentage also going to de la Fuente and his coaches.
