Spain will have an extra Barcelona player in their ranks for the Euro 2024 final with Gavi flying out to Berlin.
La Roja are preparing for their first European final since winning Euro 2012 with England on the horizon for Luis de la Fuente’s team.
Ahead of the final, de la Fuente has a clear idea on his starting team, with minimum changes expected from the semi final win over France.
The squad will be boosted by Gavi’s presence in Germany, who missed out on a call up for the tournament, following a cruciate ligament tear on international duty in November.
As per reports from Mundo Deportivo, Gavi has accepted an invite from de la Fuente to link up with the squad, and he will take an RFEF charter flight to Berlin tomorrow morning.
Barcelona have been cautious over confirming a return date for Gavi in domestic action with September set as a provisional deadline for the 19-year-old.
