Spain face England on Sunday night in the Euro 2024 final in Berlin, and La Roja come into the match as slight favourites due to their impressive form in the competition. However England may have a slight advantage in their favour too.
According to Cadena SER, Spain will have just over 10,000 fans at the final in the Olympiastadion, compared to a remarkable 50,000 supporting the Three Lions. The capcity of the stadium has been reduced to 70,000 for the final. The same outlet note that Spain have not taken nearly as many fans as some other countries, but speaking to member of one of the Spain supporter’s club, they also claimed that UEFA have not provided them with tickets, whereas in previous editions they have been doing so.
La Roja are not particularly famed for their traveling support, and during a tough economic time, the trip is estimated to cost around €700 at cheaper end of things. Nevertheless, it will be a frustration for Spain team if the atmosphere is so one-sided, against an England who are known for bringing a large support.
