Lamine Yamal’s father outlines his key quality ahead of Euro 2024 final

Lamine Yamal is set for the biggest game of his rising career in the Euro 2024 final this weekend.

Spain take on England in Berlin on July 14 aiming to win a first European title since 2012,

Lamine Yamal will turn 17 the day before the final as part of a whirlwind summer for the Barcelona winger.

His performances have lit up Spain’s campaign in Germany with three assists and a new record as the youngest ever scorer in the competition’s history.

Ahead of the final, his family are waiting nervously on the outcome, with his father flying to Germany to watch his son in the crunch game.

Mounir Nasraoui was interviewed before making the trip to Berlin and he highlighted the key factor maintaining his son’s rise.

“He’s a blessing from God and we must be grateful. He’s not the only hope for Spain though, it’s the whole team” as per quotes from Marca.

“Lamine is not playing alone, we must look at the team. I’m happy and proud of my son, humility is the most important thing for a human being, and it should not be lost.

“Lamine Yamal, for better or worse!”

If he starts as expected in the final, it will be another youngest ever European Championship record smashed, with the youngest final scorer slot still in his reach.
