Atletico Madrid midfielder Saul Niguez is ready to leave the club next week to join Sevilla.
Los Rojiblancos have been in talks with the Spanish international to try and terminate his contract in the Spanish capital.
His current deal runs until 2027, but he is no longer part of the club’s plans, with his career at a crucial juncture.
Atletico are willing to pay €6-7m to ensure a quick exit with Saul reportedly angling for €9m.

However, as per reports from transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, an agreement has been reached between all parties.
His move to Sevilla will include a rumoured 50% salary cut with the 29-year-old keen to revive his flagging progress.
Since making his debut in 2013, he leaves with 427 games in all competitions in Madrid, as the seventh highest appearance maker for the club.
He won the La Liga title in 2021, with two UEFA Europa League crowns in 2012 and 2018, and a Copa del Rey in 2013.
