Endrick Felipe’s Real Madrid shirt number revealed

On Wednesday, Real Madrid announced a significant amount of squad numbers for their new and existing players. Kylian Mbappe was confirmed as taking the vacant nine jersey, while the likes of Eduardo Camavinga, Federico Valverde and Arda Guler have switched from the numbers that they wore last season.

Notably, Endrick Felipe’s squad number was not revealed by Real Madrid, although there is a reason for this. Currently, the Brazilian attacker is not currently their player, as he cannot officially join until his 18th birthday later this month.

Nevertheless, his squad number has already been decided. El Chiringuito have reported that he will be given the 16 jersey for his first season as a Real Madrid.

Endrick may only have 16 for one season, as he will no doubt be eyeing up the number nine jersey. The expectation is that Mbappe will take the 10 when Luka Modric retires, which would open the door for Endrick to become Real Madrid’s number nine in 2025.
