“Speak now, speak now!” – Lamine Yamal sends message to Adrien Rabiot after Spain defeat France

In the build-up to Tuesday’s Euro 2024 semi-final between Spain and France, Adrien Rabiot challenge Lamine Yamal to step up in Munich. The teenage sensation let his football do the talking, and then some, as La Roja won 2-1 to reach the final, where they will face either England or The Netherlands.

Lamine Yamal scored Spain’s equaliser, and in spectacular fashion too. In doing so, he became the youngest ever scorer in European Championship history, in what was his final match as a 16-year-old.

After the full time whistle was blown in Munich, the cameras cut to Lamine Yamal, who appeared to send a message to Rabiot following his pre-match comments. He shouted “Habla! Habla!”, speaking “Speak now! Speak now!”

Lamine Yamal and Spain have certainly had the last laugh on this matter, and they have the Euro 2024 final to look forward to this weekend. A fourth European Championship title is on the line.
