Antoine Griezmann ‘not scared’ by Spain challenge in Euro 2024 showdown

Antoine Griezmann is ready for the challenge of facing Spain in Euro 2024 semi final action.

Les Bleus have stuttered into to the final four on the back of a low key campaign in Germany.

After scoring just two goals in the group stages, France finished second in Group D, with a tricky knockout stage campaign taking shape.

An own goal saw them past Belgium in the last 16 before a penalty shootout win over Portugal in the quarter finals.

Compared to Spain’s impressive showing at Euro 2024, France are struggling, but Griezmann is confident their class and experience will come to the fore in a Munich showdown.

“Spain have a great team. But no team is scary. We are confident in ourselves and we’ll give everything to reach the final”, as per reports from Mundo Deportivo.

“There is one game left to reach the final. It’s extraordinary to always be in the top four. We have to enjoy this France team, because they can win.”

Spain and France have not met in the European Championships since 2012 where La Roja knocked out their rivals in the quarter finals and defended their European crown from 2008.
