Barcelona to increase offer for 18-year-old Spanish striker

Barcelona are to increase their offer for RCD Mallorca striker Marc Domenech, who has caught the eye of the Blaugrana scouts in Spain’s lower leagues.

They are not the only side interested in Domenech, as per Sport, but they are the only side to have made a proposal so far, amounting to some €300k. Talks with both the player and Mallorca have been ongoing for some time though, and are set to continue.

Domenech scored 21 goals last season in the under-19 league on loan at San Francisco, but if Mallorca promote him to their B side, as is the plan, then his release clause will rise from €1m to €3m.

Barca Atletic are in need of reinforcements this summer up front, with Pau Victor potentially not returning, and Marc Guiu having left for Chelsea. Domenech already has the approval of Rafael Marquez, as he seeks to build another promotion push.

  1. “amounting to some €300k.”

Thats more within diIoIonas price range.
But looking at rotbench, why would he join that club? I think even 300k players have standards.
