Real Madrid set preseason tour deadline for Euro 2024 stars

Real Madrid are preparing for a busy preseason schedule in the coming weeks.

Los Blancos will play three tour matches in the USA at the end of July, and into the first week of August, before facing Atalanta in the UEFA Super Cup final on August 14.

However, a packed summer of international action has disrupted their plans, as the club look to balance returns.

Carlo Ancelotti is reportedly happy to give his players around four full weeks off with the start of preseason in Madrid set for mid-July.

With the Euro 2024 final on July 14, and the Copa America showdown the day after, changes are expected to avoid an overload.

As per the latest update from Diario AS, players involved in either tournament who are eliminated before the semi final stage, will fly to the USA on July 28.

At the end of the Euro group stages, some players have already headed away on holiday after elimination, including new club captain Luka Modric.
