Kylian Mbappe arrival causes “internal war” in Real Madrid dressing room, 23-year-old most affected

Earlier this month, Real Madrid announced the arrival of Kylian Mbappe, who will officially join on the 1st of July when his Paris Saint-Germain contract expires. While the deal has been met with extreme excitement from supporters, it appears that the feeling is not the same for some in Carlo Ancelotti’s squad.

According to UOL (via Sport), some members of Real Madrid’s Brazilian contingent – likely to be Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo Goes – are fearing a loss of prominence because of Mbappe’s impending arrival. It’s believed that Rodrygo is the most affected, as it is his place in the line-up that would be under threat if Ancelotti does not revert back to a 4-3-3 system for next season.

Furthermore, Mbappe’s recent statements on the European Championships being “harder” than the World Cup were interpreted by Real Madrid’s Brazilian stars as contemptuous.

Ultimately, Mbappe’s arrival is a very good thing for Real Madrid, although it’s understandable that some of their existing players would feel threatened by him, given that he is considered to be one of the best players in the world. It will be the job of Ancelotti and his coaching staff to ensure that this supposed “internal war” does not get out of hand.

  1. Real Madrid is not in need for more egos in the dressing room. What they need is pure No 9 after Ben Zeema departure. Vini and Rodri are doing well but they need one who utilize the chances they create. Obsessed by collecting all best players will create more problems in the locker room like what happened in the same club at the start of this century.

  2. Madrid and Ancelotti had an excellent squad before signing Mbappe. The locker room will encounter serious problems that the players will take with them to the field, which will result to a negative impact and results for the coach and club

  3. Real Madrid will be better with the Mbappe. The administration and the management of the team as excellent as they are will suppress any ergo or division in the dressing room.

  4. I think Anceloti is matured and has experience to handle and manage all the players and there will be room for competition amongst the players.. Hala Madrid anyday anytime

    1. There will not be any problems in the team as far as calos ancceloti is concern because is very intelligent and mature he no’s how to handle and manage those players Hala Madrid

  5. There will not be any problems in the team as far as calos ancceloti is concern because is very intelligent and mature he no’s how to handle and manage those players Hala Madrid

  6. I think Mbappe will coz chaos in the dressing room. They have spoiled him a lot at Psg giving him tòo many privileges. Hope this won’t happen at Real Madrid

  7. Only a fool would think that the European Championship is harder than the World Cup, in fact it’s like saying the English Premier League is better than the LaLiga which is not true, i mean Real Madrid alone has won more Champions League trophies then all the Premier League teams combined. I mean numbers don’t lie South American teams have always dominated European teams until they started allowing players of African descent to start playing for European national teams, e.g France and Germany even Spain.

  8. I don’t think there’s any problems among the players, people like to create conflict and hatred among those players, since the playing for them same club team work it will be there,we need to be together so we can win more trophies,is not 1 man army but team work we need to see to all players and all officials, hala Madrid
