Eduardo Camavinga highlights underrated aspect of Real Madrid’s Kylian Mbappe – ‘People don’t appreciate it’

Real Madrid and France star Eduardo Camavinga has explained that new club teammate Kylian Mbappe‘s fulll range of qualities are not fully appreciated. Madridistas will no doubt enjoy getting used to all of his ability in close detail over the next five years.

Few will be unaware of his precocious goalscoring talents, his pace or his dribbling, but Camavinga told the media after France’s 3-0 win over Luxembourg that there was one aspect of Mbappe’s game that he does not get sufficient credit for.

“People don’t necessarily see Mbappe’s qualities as a passer. I don’t know what Ancelotti thinks, he will make the right decisions to get everyone in the line-up. We will see next season,” as quoted by Marca.

Camavinga also noted that he still has plenty to improve, and is keen to get more goals from midfield.

“I was very disappointed that a goal was taken away from me, but I celebrated it, I was looking forward to it. I prefer to make decisive passes. If they ask me to make [a goal] for Kylian, I will be happy!”

“I’m still 21 years old, I still have a lot to learn, I’m not finished yet. My concentration, my right foot… I need to be a little more decisive in both areas.”

Mbappe will have plenty of movement around him next season in order to utilise his passing ability, with Vinicius Junior, Rodrygo Goes and Jude Bellingham all difficult to track for defenders. Perhaps the most interesting detail of Carlo Ancelotti’s conundrum will be whether Mbappe or Vinicius play furthest forward.
