Dortmund take on Los Blancos at Wembley Stadium in a crunch final showdown to wrap up the European domestic season.

The Bundesliga side finished fifth in their domestic campaign and head into the final as outsiders against Real Madrid.

The current La Liga champions are aiming for a 15th European Cup/Champions League crown against an unfancied Dortmund team.

However, despite the odds being against them, Terzic wants his players to channel that energy to their advantage.

He called on his squad to remember their pre-game status ahead of semi final wins over Paris Saint-Germain last month.

“If you play 10 games against Real Madrid it’s difficult, but if you go into a final, anything is possible. It’s about the game, not the occasion. We’ve had 60 games to prepare for the final”, he stated in his pre-game press conference.

“It’s clear they are favourites but we don’t care. We weren’t favourites against Atletico Madrid or PSG.”

Terzic’s message will be vital to his players, ahead of facing Real Madrid in London, with current OPTA data placing them at less than 35% to emerge as champions.
