Celta Vigo set €30m asking price for striker attracting interest from Napoli

Last summer, Celta Vigo sold Gabri Veiga to Al Ahli for a fee in excess of €30m. They are eyeing up another big-money sale in 2024, which would come in the shape of Norwegian striker Jorgen Strand Larsen.

Strand Larsen amassed 13 goals in La Liga in his second season at Celta, who are aware that he could be a player in-demand this summer. With that in mind, they are hoping to receive €30m from any clubs that want him, as reported by Marca.

Earlier this season, Strand Larsen revealed that he dreams of a move to the Premier League, and although no clubs in England have registered their interest at this stage, Relevo advance that Napoli are one of the teams keeping an eye on him ahead of the transfer window opening in July.

Celta Vigo are already have a natural successor to Strand Larsen in their squad, that being Tasos Douvikas. A sale would certainly help raise funds for new signings to be targeted for Claudio Giraldez’s squad.
