Carlo Ancelotti’s side take on Borussia Dortmund at Wembley looking to win a 15th European Cup/Champions League crown.

On the back of already securing the La Liga title, Modric and his teammates can create another historical milestone, if they win in London.

Modric is on a long list of players with five titles in the competition with Los Blancos icon Paco Gento the only one with six, in the European Cup era.

The Croatian international will join teammates Toni Kroos, Dani Carvajal and Nacho Fernandez with six and the latter two have won all of the their five in Madrid.

With Kroos retiring in the coming months, and Modric expected to sign an extension, there is the potential for more history to come in 2025.

“It’s unimaginable to think we could reach this moment, but we’re here and enjoying the moment. Hopefully we can take this step together as a team. Winning six European Cups would be impressive”, he said.

Modric is set start on the bench in the final with Nacho and Carvajal starting in Ancelotti’s defence.
