Toni Kroos

What are Toni Kroos’ plans for life after football and Real Madrid?

On Saturday, Toni Kroos played his penultimate match as a Real Madrid player – and his last at the Santiago Bernabeu. Earlier this week, the 34-year-old midfield maestro announced that he would be retiring after this summer’s European Championship, which is being played in his homeland of Germany.

Once his retirement becomes official, Kroos will return to Madrid, as per Diario AS. He has multiple projects that he will work on post-football, with the first being the continuation of his Einfach mal Luppen podcast, which he records every week with his brother, Felix.

Aside from that, Kroos will fully launch the “Toni Kroos Academy”, which he has already applied to trademark, alongside “KR8S” and “TK8”. Kroos launched this back in 2021, but only in mobile form – the physical version will come to life in September, taking place at Las Encinas Club in Boadilla del Monte.

Kroos will certainly be kept busy during his retirement, and he’ll still be very close to his beloved Real Madrid. He’s sure to keep an eye on his soon-to-be former teammates.
