In recent months, Atletico Madrid have been linked with a summer move for Manchester United winger Mason Greenwood, who is currently having an impressive loan spell at fellow La Liga side Getafe. The 22-year-old is expected to be made available for transfer, as the Premier League giants aim to offload him.

Exclusive information from CaughtOffside sources has confirmed that Atleti’s interest in Greenwood is genuine, and they would be very keen on a move during the summer. However, it’s reported that they are not willing to pay the current asking price set by Man Utd, believed to be €30m.
Juventus are also interested in signing Greenwood, which is not good news for Atleti in their hopes of reducing the asking price for the one-time England international.
It does appear at this stage that Atletico Madrid cannot afford to sign Greenwood, although if they are able to sell a number of their forward options first, they may be able to raise the funds required.
Greenwood is worth a lot more than €30 million euros in the current market
