The Spanish Football Federation have released the schedule for the upcoming Spanish Supercup, which will take place in January. The two finalists from the Copa del Rey and the top two (three in case of crossover) in La Liga will face each other in the semi-finals, and then play for the trophy on Sunday the 14th of January in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Predictably Real Madrid and Barcelona have been drawn apart in order to allow for a Clasico final, with Los Blancos facing Atletico Madrid on the 10th of January. Meanwhile Barcelona face Copa del Rey finalists Osasuna on Thursday the 11th, all taking place at 20:00 CEST.

Last season Barcelona won the trophy, beating Real Madrid 3-1 in the final, which Xavi Hernandez has since referred to as his favourite game as manager of the Blaugrana. It provided the confidence for them to go on and secure the Liga title too.
