Despite their current financial predicament, Barcelona have no intention of selling many of their first team squad this summer.
Xavi Hernandez’s side have excelled domestically this season, and a treble remains a very real possibility. Having already won the Spanish Super Cup, the Blaugrana are in excellent positions to add La Liga and the Copa del Rey.
Andreas Christensen is one player that Barcelona are very reluctant to sell. The Danish international joined on a free transfer from Chelsea last summer, and has since exceeded all expectations to become a crucial member of Xavi’s squad.
However, Christensen’s representative has told Barcelona to expect “tempting” offers from the Premier League this summer, as per Sport. Despite this, the player himself is very happy in Catalonia, and the club are uninterested in letting him go, and will only do so if a gigantic offer arrives.
Christensen has been excellent for Barcelona this season, but they will have to do without his services for the next few weeks at least, following confirmation that he suffered a calf injury while on international duty.
