Mbappe gives the go-ahead
PSG superstar Kylian Mbappe is said to have given Real Madrid his word that he will go ahead with the transfer this summer.
Mbappe will join Los Blancos for free next summer as long as he doesn’t sign a new deal at PSG, and according to Diario AS, he has already given his word to Real Madrid.
With that in mind, Carlo Ancelotti is said to be making early plans for next season around a front three of Mbappe, Karim Benzema and Vinicius Junior.
Rayo edge through
Rayo Vallecano needed penalties to ensure all Primera sides advanced through to the second round of the Copa del Rey on Thursday night.
Andoni Iraola’s men drew 1-1 with Guijuelo but edged through 4-3 on penalties.
The draw for the second round will take place at 12pm Spanish time today.
Barca make Dembélé provisions
Barcelona have made it clear they would like to keep Ousmane Dembélé, but contract talks have not going well.
They are still attempting talks, but according to Marca, Barca are preparing for the worst case.
Members of the Barca board are said to have offered Dembélé out to other clubs ahead of January just in case a contract can’t be agreed.
The winger is not said to be keen on leaving in January whether he signs a new deal or not.
