Real Sociedad's Mikel Oyarzabal suffered an injury scare in Spain's U21 5-0 win over Poland.
Oyarzabal has played in all three of Spain's group games at the U21 European Championships, and netted his first goal of the tournament on 35 minutes, against Poland.
However the 22-year old was forced off on the hour mark, twisting his knee after landing awkwardly on his following a tackle, with Real Madrid striker Borja Mayoral replacing him for the remaining 30 minutes.
Oyarzabal initially tried to play on, but quickly signalled to the bench that he could not continue, and he was stretchered off in tears at the Renato Dall'Ara.
Manager Luis de la Fuente provided no update on the injury after the game, but confirmed that the Basque forward would be going for tests ahead of their semi final clash on June 27.
The absence of Oyarzabal would be a blow for de la Fuente, as he arrived at the tournament full of confidence after scoring his first senior goal against Sweden on June 10.
If he is rule doubt for the rest of the tournament, Mayoral will step in, as the most experienced option for La Roja.
