POST MATCH: Spain maintain 100% Euro 2020 qualification record with Sweden win

Spain maintained their 100% winning record in UEFA Euro 2020 Championships qualifying with a 3-0 win over Sweden.

La Roja had to wait until the second half to break down a stubborn Sweden, at the Santiago Bernabeu, with Dani Parejo and Isco wasting strong first half chances to give the home side the lead.

Skipper Sergio Ramos finally put the hosts on 64 minutes, converting a penalty after veteran midfielder Sebastian Larsson handled Marco Asensio's cross, his third goal in his last four games for the national side.

Atletico Madrid striker Alvaro Morata made the game safe five minutes from time, with another penalty, after being fouled by Filip Helander, with Ramos ceding spot kick responsibility to the Chelsea loanee.

Real Sociedad forward Mikel Oyarzabal made it 3-0 on 87 minutes, with his first ever senior international goal, tapping home Dani Carvajal's cross from close range.

Luis Enrique's side are now five points clear at the top of Group F, with one foot already in next summer's tournament.
