Real Madrid’s Achraf Hakimi ‘feels at home’ at Borussia Dortmund

Achraf Hakimi ‘feels at home’ at Borussia Dortmund, where he is on loan from Real Madrid, according to his agent Alejandro Camaño.

Hakimi, 20, is primarily a right-sided defender who can also play in the heart of the defence and he has already amassed 14 caps for Morocco, including all three group matches at this summer’s World Cup.

The full-back has represented the German club 11 times this season and in September won the Bundesliga Rookie award for his performances.

“Borussia Dortmund are an incredible club and Achraf feels like he is at home,”Camaño told Goal, as cited by Diario AS.

“The truth is he is really enjoying his football at the moment and feels comfortable, there is no thought of Real Madrid and our full focus is with Dortmund.

“There is no change in the agreement between the clubs and since Achraf has come to Germany, there has been no contact from Madrid.

“We are thankful for the opportunity Dortmund have given the player, they are a fantastic team in an incredible league.”
