Real Madrid are enduring an injury crisis as three further players were withdrawn through injury in Sunday’s 4-2 victory at Celta Vigo.
Casemiro, Sergio Reguillon and Nacho Fernandez were all withdrawn due to injury in Sunday’s victory in Galicia, although the timing does coincide with an international break.
Dani Carvajal, Raphael Varane, Marcelo and Jesus Vallejo are among those who were not available for the clash due to knocks, with youngster Javi Sanchez given first-team playing time.
Marca say Madrid’s injury problems this season have been particularly steep with 17 injuries across 12 players sustained to date this campaign.
Gareth Bale is also said to have sustained an ankle injury during the game.
