Keylor Navas, Sergio Ramos and Luka Modric have won UEFA awards for helping Real Madrid defend the Champions League last season.
The awards were handed out during the 2018-19 Champions League group-stage draw in Monaco on Thursday, with ex-Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo taking home the Forward of the Season.
Navas scooped up the Champions League Goalkeeper of the Season with 222 points – 25 more than nearest challenger Alisson and almost 200 more than Barcelona’s Marc-Andre ter Stegen.
Ramos claimed the Defender of the Season accolade for the second year running, while it was a memorable evening for Modric, who received both the Midfielder of the Season and UEFA Men’s Player of the Year.
Finally, Ronaldo’s 15 Champions League goals last term, prior to him joining Juventus over the summer, won him the Forward of the Season.
