Barcelona striker Paco Alcacer has passed a medical at Borussia Dortmund ahead of joining on a season-long loan deal, say El Mundo Deportivo.
Alcacer has been left out of Barca’s matchday squads for their games with Alaves and Real Valladolid, having previously been linked with a move to FC Porto and Real Betis.
The deal is said to be for an initial loan fee of €2.5m with a €20m option to sign the Spain international permanently at the end of the campaign.
The 24-year-old joined the Catalan giants on a five-year contract from Valencia in 2016 in a €30m deal but has struggled for game time since, scoring 15 times in 50 appearances.
The striker, who has netted six goals in 13 caps for his nation, has also been linked with Valencia and Watford this summer, and looks certain to exit the Camp Nou before the transfer window closes for Spanish clubs on 31 August.
