Huesca ‘can make big waves’ in La Liga, boss Leo Franco insisted after they came from two goals down to rescue a point at Athletic Bilbao.
Late goals from Jorge Miramon and Ezequiel Avila rescued a point for the newly-promoted club, who had started their first ever season in the top flight with a win at Eibar the previous week.
“The reaction of my players was admirable, and they were worthy of the point,” Franco told reporters, as cited by Marca.
“It was a big effort from my players and this should give them the confidence and faith needed to push on with our season.
“It was a magnificent night for the club, one of the finest in their history but it demonstrates what we are capable of achieving this campaign.
“We are able to make big waves in this league and we to continue on this path.”
