Sevilla have agreed to mutually terminate the contract of defender and vice-captain Nico Pareja, it has been confirmed.
The 34-year-old joined Los Rojiblancos from Spartak Moscow in 2013 and helped the club to three successive Europa League titles.
The Argentinian was the longest serving player in the squad and made 120 appearances for the club.
Earlier this week, Diario AS cited a report in Univisión claiming the defender was in talks with Mexican club Atlas.
