Real Madrid are looking to part company with out-of-favour defender Fabio Coentrao, who has one year remaining on his contract, this summer.
The 30-year-old spent the entirety of last season on loan at Lisbon-based giants Sporting CP but was due to return to the European champions this summer.
Marca say that the club have no interest in the former Portugal international continuing at the club and are willing to terminate his contract should a club show an interest in paying his wages.
Coentrao originally joined Madrid in 2011 but has made only 43 La Liga starts for the European champions in a spell which has a total of 106 appearances and a 2016-17 loan spell at Monaco.
The Portuguese defender’s contract at the Bernabeu runs through until June 2019.
Coentrao posted a picture to social media this week of him training alone at Madrid’s training ground after a report in Diario AS suggested he had been AWOL for two months.
