Rayo Vallecano have enquired to Real Madrid over the loan availability of goalkeeper Andriy Lunin (pictured) and striker Raul de Tomas, say reports in Spain.
The Vallecas-based side fell to a heavy 4-1 defeat by Sevilla on the opening day with their squad in need of several more additions before the 31 August close of the transfer window.
Lunin joined Madrid this summer from Zorya Luhansk in an €8.5m deal but due to the arrival of Thibaut Courtois and expected stay of Keylor Navas, his game time appears to be extremely limited.
Striker De Tomas spent the last season on loan at Rayo, helping them to promotion with an impressive 24 goals in 32 league appearances.
The Spanish striker has also been linked with a move to Sporting CP and thus a decision over his future has been delayed.
36-year-old Javi Guerra is the only natural striker in Michel’s squad and Diario AS claim they hope to add at least two forwards over the next week.
