Villarreal have confirmed striker Carlos Bacca has returned to the club on a permanent basis from Milan after a successful loan spell.
The Colombian international spent last season on loan at the Yellow Submarine, where he netted 15 La Liga goals in just 30 starts.
The Milanese giants had reportedly agreed to sell the former Sevilla striker to Sporting CP this summer but the player rejected the move as he held off for a return to Spain.
Bacca is the third striker to arrive at the Estadio Ceramica this summer having previously broken their club record signings to bring in duo Gerard Moreno and Karl-Toko Ekambi.
The striker joined Sevilla from Club Brugge in 2013 and netted 49 goals in 108 appearances for the Andalusian club before a move to Milan two years later, with 34 goals across two seasons.
The move is part of a deal which takes midfielder Samu Castillejo from Villarreal to the Serie A club.
