Milan have completed the signing of Villarreal midfielder Samu Castillejo on an initial loan deal with an €18m agreement to buy, say reports.
The 23-year-old was identified by the Rossoneri as their next primary transfer objective in a summer in which they continue to reshape their squad.
A vibrant attack-minded player who is often deployed wide, he joined the Europa League regulars from Malaga in 2015 and has made 127 appearances for the club, scoring nine goals.
Last season, Castillejo six goals with eight assists in 38 competitive games for Villarreal and earlier this month was linked with a move to Sevilla.
In part of a swap deal, Milan striker Carlos Bacca has returned to Estadio La Ceramica.
