Villarreal midfielder Samu Castillejo has arrived in Milan ahead of completing a big-money move to the Italian giants, reports confirm.
The 23-year-old has been identified by the Rossoneri as their next primary transfer objective in a summer in which they continue to reshape their squad.
Sky Sport Italia previously reported a bid of €18m being on the table plus striker Carlos Bacca, who spent last season on loan at Villarreal.
El Mundo Deportivo report the Colombian international – who netted 15 goals in 30 La Liga starts for the Yellow Submarine last season – will now join the Spanish club permanently as part of the deal.
A vibrant attack-minded player who is often deployed wide, he joined the Europa League regulars from Malaga in 2015 and has made 127 appearances for the club, scoring nine goals.
Last season, Castillejo six goals with eight assists in 38 competitive games for Villarreal and earlier this month was linked with a move to Sevilla.
